Are Call Sweeps Bullish?
The short answer is not always. I have been tracking and trading Unusual Options Activity for many years and I have seen both Bullish & Bearish sweeps on the Call side. What this means is that you can have a sweep order to sell Calls which is essentially taking a bearish position.
Normally a bearish Call sweep will see the order coming through on the “Bid side” .

This is an options contract, put or call, that can be exercised at any time prior to expiration. Stock, exchange-traded funds, and some index options also settle American-style. The alternative is the European Style Option which can only be exercised at expiration.
The cap price is the level that the automatic exercise value of a capped option must reach in order for the option to be automatically exercised. The cap price of a call option is above, and of a put option below, the exercise price of the option.
This is the combination of a Bull Put Spread and a Bear Call Spread. The trade is created by selling a Put and buying a lower strike price Put and also selling a Call and buying a Call with a higher strike price. The short options have consecutive strike prices (short strangle).
